Introduction

Federal Government Degree College for Women is centrally located between the Cantonment and the city on Sher Shah Road, near Power Station. It is an established institution which has maintained high educational standards since its inception in 1986. It provides a congenial and healthy atmosphere for its students. It functions under the administrative control of the Directorate FGEI (C/G) IGT & E’s Branch, GHQ, Rawalpindi. The college is affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad for Intermediate programs and National University of Pakistan for BS Programs. Currently the college offers three BS programs ie Computer Science, English and Islamic Studies.
